Features and benefits of the PD Watermark Pro module
- Graphic watermark — apply your own image (logo, stamp, marking) to product photos with configurable opacity settings (1-100%), size (1-100% of the photo width), position (9 positions: top left, center, bottom right, etc.), and edge margin (0-500 pixels)
- Text watermark — add text (e.g. "© My Store", "Do not copy", "SAMPLE") with full configuration: font selection from 4 built-in TTF fonts (DejaVu Sans, DejaVu Serif, DejaVu Sans Mono, Lato) or custom ones, text size (1-500 pt), color with built-in color picker, opacity (1-100%), rotation angle (-360° to 360°), and independent positioning and margin separate from the graphic watermark
- Independent positioning — graphic and text watermarks can be placed in completely different positions on the photo, with separate horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and margin settings, allowing you, for example, to place the logo in the bottom right corner and the copyright text in the top left
- WebP and AVIF format support — full support for modern image formats required by PrestaShop 8 and 9, in addition to classic JPG, PNG, and GIF, with automatic detection of available server libraries and notification of missing support
- Tiled mode (tile/repeat) — repeat the watermark diagonally at a -45° angle across the entire photo surface with configurable spacing between repetitions (10-1000 px), ensuring maximum protection against cropping or watermark removal
- Crop protection (multi-position) — apply the watermark simultaneously in multiple selected positions from a 3x3 grid (9 positions to choose from, minimum 2), making it impossible to crop the photo to remove the watermark without losing a significant part of the image
- Live preview — automatically updated watermark preview on a sample photo, responding instantly to every settings change without the need to save the configuration, with smooth loading animation
- Bulk image regeneration — apply the watermark to all existing product or category images with a single click, with a real-time progress bar, the ability to pause, resume, and stop the process, and a detailed error report — essential for large catalogs with thousands of images
- Separate image types for text and graphics — independent selection of thumbnail sizes (cart_default, home_default, large_default, medium_default, small_default) for graphic and text watermarks, allowing, for example, text to be applied only to large images and the logo to all sizes
- Exclusion list with category tree — the ability to exclude selected products (by ID) and entire categories (with a convenient tree view with checkboxes) from watermarking, ideal for gift cards, digital products, or images that should not have a watermark
- Category image watermarking — automatically apply the watermark to category images when they are created or updated, with the option to bulk regenerate all categories
- Detailed operation logs — record every watermarking operation (applied, skipped, error) with information about the product, image, functions used, and formats, translated status labels, configurable retention period (automatic removal of older entries), and a log clearing button
- CRON schedule — automatic background processing of new, unwatermarked images using a CRON task (HTTP or CLI), with configurable batch size, secure access token, and display of the last run date
- Original image access protection — automatic .htaccess rules blocking direct access to original images (JPG, WebP, AVIF, PNG), with an option to display images without a watermark to logged-in customers
- Full multishop support — independent watermark configuration for each store in a multistore environment (separate image, opacity, position, text settings), with information about the current store context and intelligent fallback to global settings
