Features and benefits of the module
- ability to display related products in a grid, table, slider, or as small tiles / icons (can replace color selection if they are added as separate products)
- ability to link products crosswise (if product A is assigned to B, then B is automatically assigned to A)
- ability to link products crosswise if A is related to B,C,D then B is related to A,C,D, C is related to A,B,D, and D is related to A,B,C (this option saves time, there is no need to link products A,B,C,D individually, it is enough to create the relations for product A and the rest will be linked automatically)
- easy way to add products by starting to type the name and selecting the product you are interested in from the suggestion field
- ability to place related products in the product footer, in a product tab (if the template supports it), or in a custom position by adding 1 line of code responsible for its display
- ability to replace images of related products after selecting a combination on the product page e.g.: "If we select a white sweatshirt, then all related products will be reloaded with images having the white attribute value, provided that the color attribute with the same value is assigned to the product only in PrestaShop 1.7.x version
- in table view it is possible to add a column with a product selection field (you can select multiple products and then, after adding the main product to the cart, the selected related products will also be added) only in PrestaShop 1.7.x version
- quite extensive configuration options for table and slider view
- ability to limit the number of loaded products to display
- ability to define a name for the block
- ability to sort related products (via drag & drop)
- the module adds a new tab on the product edit page where you can assign and search for products
- when purchasing the module, you will receive 2 modules each of them is responsible for a separate tab / slider with related products only in PrestaShop 1.6.x in PrestaShop 1.7.x and 8.x versions there is currently 1 module
