In the new version of EciPeci, we combined a responsive template with product page, order, and buyer data functions. The published scope of work includes, among other things, the delivery cost on the product page, company data retrieval by VAT ID, and the choice of invoice or receipt.

Task: design and shopping functions in one implementation

EciPeci offers products intended for everyday use. The PrestaDev implementation concerned a new version of the store: from creating the template based on a graphic design to selected functions supporting the purchase. It was not limited to changing colours and the page layout.

Scope of completed work

  • Responsive template based on a graphic design — preparing the store’s appearance for different screen sizes.
  • Delivery cost on the product page and product enquiry — information and contact available in the context of the viewed item.
  • WebP images and one-page checkout — support for the image format and a single-step order form.
  • Data retrieval by VAT ID — a function for completing company details.
  • Invoice or receipt — support for document selection in the purchase process.
  • Google Analytics 4 and Omnibus — analytics integration and a function related to price history information.

Why combining these elements is important

With a similar scope of work, the order form, company details, and document selection should be checked together. Retrieving data by VAT ID does not replace verifying what information is transferred to the order. Likewise, delivery information on the product page should be assessed in the context of the delivery rules applicable in a given store.

These are guidelines for reviewing similar projects, not a declaration of additional functions such as VIES verification, automatic VAT exemption, or integration with an accounting system. Such elements are not confirmed by the published scope of this implementation.

Confirmed result

The new version of the store was completed with the listed modules and modifications. We do not attribute to it any specific increase in sales, reduction in cart abandonment, or time savings in handling — the public documentation contains no measurements that would allow such values to be stated.

If you are planning a similar change, check the scope of PrestaShop development, the delivery cost module on the product page, and the guide on checking sales measurement in GA4.
